Leave the creation of your e-commerce to us and focus only on selling and profiting

1. From your dashboard, go to Store and select Products .

2. Select Add Product or Add .

Add an image or video URL. Customers need to see what they're buying, so choose your visuals wisely and ensure they accurately represent your physical product. Note: You can add up to 10 images. Images must be in .jpg, .jpeg, .png, or .gif format and cannot exceed 10 MB each. While images can be up to 5,000 by 5,000 pixels, their maximum display size is 1,920 by 1,080 pixels.

1. Fill in the required product details. Fields marked with a red asterisk * are required (product name, price, and SKU).

2. Complete the remaining optional fields as needed:

   • Price : This is the regular price, when you don't have a sale.

   • Sale Price : Shows the sale price, with the normal price crossed out.

   • Product category : Adds the product to a category you created, such as clothing, household goods, or toys, so customers can find it more easily.

   • SKU : Enter a SKU (Stock Keeping Unit) number to track your inventory and manage related invoices. Use any numbering scheme you like.

   • Tax Category: Choose the most appropriate tax category for your product. If necessary, add or change tax category rates.

   • Visible in my store : Use this toggle to show or hide the product in your store. You can set this to No to hide seasonal items or if you plan to display multiple products simultaneously later.

1. Scroll down and use the tabs to add more details or options for your product.

   • Inventory & Options : Track available supplies and offer customers product options, such as size and color. Each option can have its own unique price and inventory count.

   • Shipping : Add the package's shipping weight and dimensions when adding general shipping options. To use your store's shipping settings, select Calculate for me using my shipping methods . Otherwise, you can choose to ship an item for free or specify a flat rate.

   • Search engines : Automatically adds a direct link to this product, which you can change if you wish.

2. When you're finished, select Save or select Save and Add Another to continue adding products. Your store listings will update immediately.

After saving your product, you'll be returned to the Products page where you can make further changes.

• Select Quick Edit to edit all products at once.

• Next to an individual product, select more to create a social media post about the product, duplicate the product, or remove it entirely. Use the checkboxes to select multiple products for removal.

In your Website Builder Online Store, you can offer digital products, such as downloadable documents, videos, or audio files. You can have both digital and physical products, which are shipped to your customers.

1. Go to Hostrean and open your website builder.

2. From your dashboard, go to Store , then Products .

3. Select Add Product or Add .

4. Under Product Type , select Video / Digital .

5. Add an image or video URL. Customers need to see what they're buying, so choose your visuals carefully and ensure they accurately represent your digital product. Note: You can add up to 10 images. Images must be in .jpg, .jpeg, .jpe, .png, .gif, .webp, or .tiff format and cannot exceed 10 MB each. While images can be up to 5,000 by 5,000 pixels, their maximum display size is 1,920 by 1,080 pixels.

6. Fill in the required product details. Fields marked with a red asterisk * are required (product name and price).

7. Complete the remaining optional fields as needed:

   • Product category : Adds the product to a category you create, such as PDF downloads, digital spreadsheets, or online games, so customers can find it more easily.

   • Tax Category: Choose the most appropriate tax category for your product. If necessary, add or change tax category rates.

   • Visible in my store : Use this toggle to show or hide the product in your store. You can set this to No to hide seasonal items or if you plan to display multiple products simultaneously later.

1. Scroll down and use the tabs to add more details or options for your product.

   • Description : Add product information manually or select Suggest Description to have one automatically generated by artificial intelligence (AI). Disclaimer: When using AI tools, avoid entering sensitive information and always review the output for accuracy. You can set the tone and length of the description. Copy the automatically generated text or regenerate it by selecting Show Another Draft . Once you're satisfied with the result, select Insert . Note: Having at least a product image and a product title will help the AI generate a more accurate description.

   • Downloadable Content : Select Add File . After adding and naming your product file, select Save to upload it. Note: You can upload up to 10 files per product. Almost all file types are supported (.mp3, .mp4, .m4a, .zip, .csv, .xls, etc.), and each file cannot be larger than 2 GB. Your customer gets a unique URL for each file and can download the file up to 3 times.

   • Search engines : Automatically adds a direct link to this product, which you can edit.

1. When finished, select Save or select Save and Add Another to add more products. Note: You can't add more than 5,000 products to your online store—any combination of physical and digital products. You can bulk upload a maximum of 100 products at a time. While you can add or import products to your store, there's no export option.

2. To make your changes appear live, publish your site.

To reset the download limit on the digital product order page:

1. From your dashboard, go to Store , then Orders .

2. Select the digital product order.

3. Scroll to Files .

4. Select Reset Limits .

5. Select OK to reset the download limits for all files associated with this order.

To resend the download link to your customer on the digital product order page:

1. From your dashboard, go to Store , then Orders .

2. Select the digital product order.

3. Scroll to Files .

4. Select Resend links .

5. Select OK to send the download links to the customer email associated with the order.

Help your customers quickly find what they need in your store by creating product categories and subcategories.

1. Go to Hostrean and open your website builder.

2. From your dashboard, go to Store and select Categories .

3. On the Categories page , select Add .

4. Enter a category name and description . You also have the option to edit the Category link . Your category link provides a direct URL to the products in that category and must match the category name .

Note : While not required, adding keywords in the name and description fields helps customers find you.

1. When you're finished, select Save to close the window. The category is added to the Categories page.

2. Rearrange categories by clicking and dragging to change the order.

3. Click and drag a category below or above another to make it a subcategory. Main categories can have two levels of subcategories. So, "Clothing, then Shirts, then Women" would work, but "Clothing, Shirts, Women, and Blouses" wouldn't.

4. After creating a category, remember to create a product or edit existing products.

5. To make your changes live, publish your site.

Add featured products so customers can quickly see your top products. These could be your bestsellers or items or services you want to draw attention to.

Required: You must have an online store section on your website and add products to your store before they can be set up as featured products.

1. Go to Hostrean and open your website builder.

2. From your dashboard, select Store , then Products .

3. Select Featured .

4. Search for your products and select the ones you want to feature.

Note: You can add up to 12 featured products to your online store section on your website.

1. Rearrange your featured products by selecting and dragging them into the desired order. This will change their arrangement in the Online Store section of your website.

2. If you no longer want to feature the product, select the trash button. This removes it from the Featured Products list and does not delete the product itself.

All set! Changes made to your products and featured products are updated automatically, so you don't need to publish your site.

Your online store is ready to accept orders as soon as you add at least one product to your store and publish your website. If this is your first time using the Website Builder Online Store, you'll need to set up your website before adding any products.

1. Go to Hostrean and open your website builder.

2. If you haven't already, you'll need to add at least one product.

3. (Optional) You can add or change your desired payment methods or change your preferred shipping method.

4. Make sure your products are displayed on your website. If not, add a section and search for Online Store .

5. Make any other desired changes to the site.

6. Your changes are saved automatically, so when you're done, select Preview to see the results.

7. When you're ready, publish your site to make your changes live.

Note: Once your website is live, all data transmitted through it will be encrypted using an SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) certificate. This works for Hostrean-managed domains, but not for third-party (external) domains. See third-party SSL support for more information.
